Get Hired Fast - need help finding a jobNow that the graduation ceremonies are over, new college graduates who have not already found a job have to get more aggressive in order to start their careers. Here are some apps that might be helpful for new graduates who need help finding a job.

iPQ Career Planner

As a new graduate, you may not have a clear idea about your perfect career path yet; the iPQ Career Planner helps you figure out your areas of interest.  This app is a behavior science-based personality and career assessment tool. You path is created by the use of statements that describe what is important to you and what you enjoy and the program will generate a list of careers that are the most appropriate for you. This app is available for the iPhone and iPad and is free.

Hidden Jobs

The Hidden Jobs app tracks jobs that are not on regular job boards. The program does not actually list positions that you can apply for but it scans newspaper articles and press releases to determine when companies in your area are adding new positions. You can also receive notifications when new hiring notifications are posted. It is available for both Android and iPhone users.

Good Job

This apps helps you remain organized throughout your job search. The Good Job app allows you to keep track of upcoming events and tasks, follow your accounts on company websites or job websites, as well as keep and make notes regarding interviews – both good and bad. This app can help you with your productivity during your job search and improve your odds of not missing important appointments or not sending out necessary data to prospective employers. This is available for the iPhone for around $5.00.

Proven

This app allows you to apply for different positions on the fly. The Proven app – available for both the iPhone and Android devices – allows you to search and apply for jobs on Craigslist and Simply Hired. You can sync up your resume and cover letter with your device and can sent it to various employees; the app also keeps track of the positions you apply for. You can also get notifications for new jobs of interest as well marking positions that you may want to apply for later and sending job info to friends.
